Crowley’s Ridge Academy has added Blaine Nunn of Paragould and Wiley Stanley of Jonesboro as members of its Board of Directors, Board President KJ Spillman announced.
Nunn and Stanley joined the board effective July 1, 2020, and each will serve a 6-year term.
Nunn is President of Nunn’s Construction, a family-owned business in Paragould. He is a 1984 graduate of Paragould High School, and he and his wife, Vicki Nunn, have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Their son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Kendall (Sheppard) Nunn, graduated from CRA in 2016, and the Nunns have a granddaughter currently enrolled at CRA. Nunn also serves on the Greene County Boys & Girls Club Board, the Greene County Rescue Squad, the Economic Development Corporation of Paragould, the Arkansas State Police Foundation Board, and the board of Unico Bank. The Nunns attend 7th & Mueller Church of Christ.
Stanley works in pharmaceutical sales and is a 2000 graduate of Arkansas State University. “My amazing wife of 18 years, Amy Stanley, is a teacher at Brookland Elementary,” he said, “and our son, Sonny, is in the 10th grade at CRA.” The Stanleys attend the Valley View Church of Christ in Jonesboro, where Stanley serves as a youth deacon.
The two incoming board members replace Christie Jordan and Keith White, each of whom completed their terms on June 30.
“The Board is very thankful for the work and influence of both Christie and Keith over the last six years,” Spillman said. “At the same time, we have already been blessed by the skills and efforts of Wiley and Blaine, and I look forward to working with them as board members.”
