Welcome to Crowley's Ridge Academy and thank you for your interest in our school!
We consider the well-being of students our greatest responsibility. It is a tremendous honor for any school to be entrusted with the hearts, minds, and souls of young people for a lengthy period of each weekday for nine months out of the year. At Crowley's Ridge Academy, we strive to maximize the time that we have with students by offering a values-oriented academic environment in an atmosphere that strives to allow the spirit of Christ to be seen in every action of every minute of every day.

  • Once admitted, we encourage your family to be as involved as possible to gain the most from your CRA experience! Attend chapel, eat lunch with your child, volunteer in the classroom or at school events, attend sporting events and chaperone field trips. It is important to get to know the other parents in your child’s class and to build a community of support. We are all about strong relationships here at CRA and we desire for you to become an integral part of our school family.

 Enrollment FAQs

  • Enrollment can take place before the start of each semester.

  • Students seeking admission to Kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 1 to enroll in a given year.

Students enrolling in grades 9-12 must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

When a family decides to apply for admission, the process will include these steps, and will generally occur in this order:

    • Completion of Application: The application is to be completed online at www.crafalcons.org/apply

    • Optional: Scholarship/Aid Application: CRA’s communications officer will cover any available options for tuition assistance. If a family wishes to apply for any of these opportunities, they should do so prior to the next step (Due Diligence), and when possible, a decision on assistance will be made during the Due Diligence period.

    • Grade Level Assessment: Students seeking to enroll/transfer in Elementary (K-6 grades) will be tested/evaluated by a CRA administrator or teacher to ensure proper grade placement.

    • Due Diligence: The principal will communicate with officials from the prospective student’s current school to discuss the student’s progress, aptitude, behavior, etc. In this communication, any classroom accommodations, medical/clinical diagnoses, etc., that impact the student’s classroom or academic success should be disclosed. This will be done as quickly as possible, but can take up to 10 business days to complete. All information will remain confidential.

    • Interview with Principal(s): The student and family will meet with the appropriate principal (elementary or secondary) to discuss academic progress, course selection, behavior/disciplinary history, and classroom modifications.

    • Notification of Decision: Once the principal has completed due diligence, a decision will be communicated to the student's family by either the principal or the communications officer.

  • Elementary students may play right away.

    7th-10 Grades:

A transfer student may be eligible for athletic participation the next school year if the student's transfer paperwork is completed and accepted by CRA prior to June 1 before entering grades 7-10 AND a CSAP form is completed prior to interscholastic competition. Students who transfer after June1 prior to the 10th grade are ineligible for varsity competition for 365 days. Students in grades 7-12 who make a bona fide move to a new district are not considered transfers and meet the domicile rule as a resident student upon enrollment.

AAA dictates that new 11-12th grade students who wish to play for a private school must have a completed application for enrollment on file at the school prior to July 1 to be eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics, assuming all other eligibility requirements have been met.

For eligibility requirements, please check the AAA HANDBOOK or contact the school for clarification.
