Position Summary
Crowley’s Ridge Academy is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-minded Communications Officer to lead the school’s marketing, communications, and student recruitment efforts. This position plays a vital role in telling the story of our school while coordinating many of the events, publications, and communications that keep our families, alumni, donors, and prospective families informed and engaged.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, an eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines throughout the school year. This role combines graphic design, marketing, event coordination, admissions, and relationship building in a collaborative Christian school environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that promotes the mission and culture of Crowley’s Ridge Academy.
Manage the school’s Facebook and Instagram accounts with engaging content highlighting academics, athletics, student life, faith, and special events.
Create digital and print marketing materials using Canva and other design platforms.
Publish bi-weekly school announcement emails through Constant Contact.
Produce and distribute the school’s biannual newsletter.
Maintain consistent branding across all communication platforms.
Create content for marketing and communications.
Website Management
Maintain and update the school’s Squarespace website.
Keep admissions, events, and family information current throughout the year.
Update specialized event websites and landing pages as needed.
Maintain the faculty intranet.
Update external school profiles such as Niche and Private School Review annually.
Admissions & Enrollment
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families.
Coordinate the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment.
Schedule campus tours, student shadow days, and assessments.
Communicate with prospective families throughout the admissions process.
Educate families about Educational Freedom Account (EFA) vouchers and ACE Scholarships.
Coordinate Student Ambassadors to help welcome and mentor new students.
Develop creative recruitment strategies to increase enrollment.
Ensure that all families complete the enrollment package each Spring.
Event Planning & Promotion
Coordinate the marketing, communications, and logistical support for major annual school events, including:
Falcon Fest Golf Tournament
Open House
Kindergarten Day
Grandparents’ Day
Fall Festival
Homecoming
Spring Auction
Alumni Reunion
Retiree Luncheon
Responsibilities include:
Creating promotional campaigns and event graphics
Updating online registration forms and webpages
Coordinating volunteers
Deliver presentations and welcome remarks at admissions events, fundraisers, alumni gatherings, and other special events.
Managing event communications
Working with vendors
Assisting with event setup, registration, photography, and execution
Publications & School Communications
Compile and distribute annual school supply lists.
Create graduation programs and event materials.
Prepare invitations, flyers, signage, and promotional pieces for school events.
Maintain current email list in Constant Contact.
Alumni & Donor Relations
Assist with alumni engagement initiatives.
Assist with donor and alumni information within DonorPerfect.
Coordinate communications related to fundraising events and alumni activities.

Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience creating marketing materials and graphics.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and seasonal deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with parents, students, faculty, alumni, and donors.
Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Experience with Canva or other graphic design software.
Familiarity with social media management.

The Communications & Admissions Officer serves as one of the primary storytellers and ambassadors for Crowley’s Ridge Academy. Through excellent communication, intentional relationship-building, and creative marketing, this position helps strengthen the school community, increase enrollment, support fundraising efforts, and advance the mission of providing Christ-centered education with academic excellence.

Summary:
This position provides support to teaching staff and administrators through classroom assistance with students; monitoring of recesses, lunches, and other group activities; and administrative help (copying, printing, bulletin board maintenance, etc.). Also assist students by reading tests and other assignments for students with academic accommodations. This is often a “jack of all trades” position that requires extreme flexibility, dependability, patience, and a happy disposition. This position is part of a team that sets a high bar for hard work in a loving and fun atmosphere.

PALS is seeking a dependable and caring Afternoon Care Assistant to help provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children ages 2.5–PreK during our afternoon dismissal and aftercare hours. This position is responsible for supervising children, assisting with classroom routines, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring a smooth transition from the school day into aftercare.Responsibilities:
Supervise children ages 2–PreK in a safe and nurturing environment
Assist with afternoon classroom activities, play centers, and outdoor play
Support teachers with student transitions and dismissal routines
Help maintain facility cleanliness and organization
Communicate positively with children, families, and staff
Follow all PALS policies, DHS childcare regulations, and safety procedures
Provide dependable coverage until all children are picked up

Summary: The Boys Assistant Basketball Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in developing players’ fundamental skills, supervising daily practices, managing game-day operations, ensuring student-athlete safety, and enforcing academic eligibility requirements. The assistant coach will instruct student-athletes in the fundamentals of basketball, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and model Christ-like character both on and off the court.
Essential Responsibilities and Expectations include (but are not limited to):

Plan and conduct practices that develop individual skills and team play.
Prepare the team for games through effective instruction and strategy.

Secondary Bible Instructor

Summary: Crowley’s Ridge Academy is seeking a certified secondary teacher for the academic year 2024-2025, with a preference for candidates holding a BS/BA in Biblical Studies or Ministry. Additional classes may include annual staff and digital health.

Director of Food Services

Seasonal Position: Late July through May
Summary:
This position provides oversight and management of cafeteria operations and staff (both part-time and full-time). This includes planning, ordering, cooking, and cleaning for daily breakfast and lunch for preschool through 12th grades (plus staff and guests). Additional stipend is available for oversight of the school's concession stand operations for athletic events. Some special events require additional hours and special menus. Director will be responsible for accurate billing of students, staff and guests who eat in the cafeteria. Director will coordinate with school health officials and administration to ensure student/staff food allergy concerns are mitigated. Director will manage food and supply costs to remain within budget parameters. Director will also oversee upkeep and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and property.
Essential Responsibilities and Expectations include (but are not limited to):
Provide excellent customer service and healthy, tasty meals
Maintain current “ServSafe” certification and meeting or exceeding all other food safety/handling/storage guidelines
Create and publish advance menus for preschool and K-12 daily meals
Order sufficient food and related supplies to ensure smooth operations

Record and report daily meal purchases by students, staff, and guests
Knowledge of all employee roles and ability to fill in at any position as needed

Summary:
This position serves as the school’s primary greeter, gatekeeper, and phone operator, and works with the administrative team. Primary duties include greeting the public (in person and telephone), managing access to the building utilizing visitor security systems, and providing administrative support to the Business and Communications offices. The ideal candidate will understand that frequent interruptions are inherent to this position, and “gatekeeping and greeting” interruptions are the primary focus of this job. Competency with regard to technology (desktop computing and multi-user phone system) is required. Ability to safeguard confidential information, practice diplomacy and customer service skills, and excellent organizational skills are essential.

Crowley’s Ridge Academy (CRA) is a private Christian school (preschool through 12th grade) in Paragould, AR, with a 70-year history. The school is seeking a full-time CEO/Administrator.
The CEO/Administrator is responsible for leading Crowley’s Ridge Academy spiritually, academically, financially, and organizationally. The CEO/Administrator should reflect a Christ-like servant attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills. The CEO/Administrator is accountable for the operation of the school, focusing on communication with staff and key stakeholders, ensuring the fiscal responsibility of the school, and working closely with the Board of Directors to accomplish strategic goals. The CEO/Administrator works for and reports to the Board of Directors.
Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree and 3 years of management experience leading a successful business or organization. Candidates must be active members of the church of Christ and committed to Christian Education.
